This project is a series of handmade papier-mâché mice developed as a commissioned work inspired by the Nutcracker story.

Each figure was constructed using cotton and PVA glue, built up through layering and shaping to create volume and structure. The surfaces were then painted, focusing on texture, character and expression.

The work explores how simple, everyday materials can be transformed into narrative objects with a strong visual presence.
